My Approach
We all have the capacity to live more meaningful, joyful lives. Psychotherapy can help us to fulfill this potential. Many of us find ourselves stuck and struggling at various points and can benefit from someone helping us to find more clarity and deeper understanding; to offer us paths to healing and personal growth. I feel honored to provide others with this service.
I provide individual psychotherapy to adults. My approach involves creating a welcoming and compassionate space where others feel safe enough to share their inner experiences, make contact with deeper parts of themselves, and to confront challenging life issues. It often includes understanding and releasing old beliefs, relationship patterns, stuck emotions, and discomfort and pain held in the body. At times my approach consists of providing education on mental health issues and teaching skills for coping and improving communication. The work I do with others often leads to increased self-compassion and compassion for loved ones.
